featuring a unique structure composed of 8-bit site code and 24-bit card number, and 2 parity bits (odd),

## HID Simplex 36bit format properties

### Site Code

8 bits. The facility code range is 0 to 255.

### Card Number

24 bits. A unique serial number (0-16,777,215) for each card within that facility code.
